After talking about joining the ANZA cycling group for the past six months...I finally threw my hat in to the ring and not only joined, but weaseled my way on to one of their teams at "The Bike Boutique Team Time Trial" last weekend out near the airport. The route was basically multiple 12k loops on the road that parallels the Changi Airport runway - flat, straight and smooth as glass. My team was entered in the "fun" category, so instead of busting my rump, I had "fun" instead. Next year I'm going to try to get a team of my own together.
